PIEZAS COLLECTION
2020
Piezas (translated to pieces) collection is about framing painted pieces of canva into metal frames. The idea was working with a smaller scale of paintings to create rigorous and challenging frames that enhance the relationship viewer - art piece.
ABSTRACTS
2018 - present
A list of abstract paintings representing the current emotional state of the artist. Whether is with neutral colors or intense spreads of black, both create an amusing interaction between the painting and the viewer.
SALZBURG INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR
2019
Along the renowned Van Gogh Art Gallery based in Madrid, two of my paintings were exhibited in the Salzburg International Art Fair that took place in Salzburg, Austria on August 2019. The concept of the paintings was to explore the origins of the artist's nationality. Vivid colors and strong lines play together with the beautiful Bolivian textiles applique around the paintings.
CERAMICS COLLECTION
2019
A fantastic exploration in the art of ceramics. This collection was about creating bulls which are representative animals in the artist's culture. Abstract shapes and bright colors are being shown on the bull's surface.
FRIDA
2017
This exhibition is composed of two series of paintings styles. The first one, honoring two very important members of my family, my great-grandma Frida Montero de Otero and my great-uncle Raul Otero Reiche. A list of nude women representing beauty and power, all named with fragments extracted from my great-uncle poems. The second series consists of showing color diversity on metal plates.

Metals are a solid material typically hard, shiny, fusible, and ductile that conduct heat and electricity. By looking at different perspectives on how metals work the idea of painting into metals plates came into place. The effect of the oxidized aluminum mixed with oil paint creates not only a particular texture but something to appreciate.

Descubriendo Azules
2013
Blue is one of the three primary colors of pigments in painting and traditional color theory. It is commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, and the imagination. As a result of the significant meaning of the color, the exhibition focus on bringing peace and tranquility to the viewer.
